SBA FAST Award Recipient

VIPC is a current recipient the Small Business Administrations’ Federal And State Technology (FAST) Partnership Program. This matching grant is designed to support outreach efforts of the Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Through this program, VIPC does the following:

  • Promote SBIR/STTR to underserved regions and communities across Virginia
  • Engage with ecosystems across Virginia to support cohorts, incubators, accelerators, entrepreneurial support programs, technology councils, and other groups to provide education, outreach, and mentoring related to SBIR/STTR
  • Host SBIR/STTR training sessions (via webinar and in person)
  • Support both early stage applicants as well as companies moving their technology through phase I and II of the program
  • Facilitate a Phase 0 grant award program to help phase I and phase II applicants hire professional consultants to provide assistance in proposal development
